FYI: iOS 27 (at least as of beta 2) has a bug causing Drafts to crash when opening Editor Settings. Hopefully, Apple will address in a beta update soon. Just be aware if you are thinking of installing the iOS beta.

NOTICE: iOS 26.4 and Drafts Sync Efficiency
TLDR; if you have not yet installed the iOS 26.4 update it might be best to wait a little while, because it includes a bug that makes Drafts sync (and other apps that rely on iCloud sync) less immediate. If you have installed this update, don’t worry too much. There’s no risk of data loss, you may just notice slower updates between devices.

Any combination of two of the below work great together. All three to not:
- Drafts
- iOS 26.4 beta
- The "Reduce Transparency" accessibility feature
If you use Drafts and Reduce Transparency, maybe hold off on the iOS beta, or you will get blank text in the editor.
If you have installed the iOS beta, turn off Reduce Transparency to workaround.

Starting with Drafts 51, it is possible to temporarily collapse the Action Bar (buttons above keyboard) on iOS 26 to reduce distractions while editing.
To do so:
* Long-press the downward arrow button to the right of the Action Bar for options menu.
* Tap the `>>` to collapse the bar to a minimal size.
* When done, use the `<` to re-expand the bar.
TIP: Did you know you can collapse the Action Bar on iOS if you just want to get it out the way while working on an editing session?
