Odd alien shapes have been passing in the sky since the day before, turning dark with foreboding. Now I detect a distinct wetness in the air, sometimes forming drops of a liquid substance which descends upon the land. What will these strange times bring? The Yorkshire Dales has not known such as this.

GLFW 3.5.1 was released, skipping 3.5 due to my mistake which resulted in 3.5 being tagged [1]. This is primarily a bugfix release.
https://github.com/glfw/glfw/releases/tag/3.5.1
[1] I pulled a PR branch for an investigation which the user had tagged with 3.5, then deleted that branch. When pushing another branch I didn't realise 'push tags' was on in the tool (I had pushed tags for another repo just before). I also didn't realise tags could be pushed which were not on any branch.

@aras@mastodon.gamedev.place I don't have words for this. Why would anyone think this is a good idea?

@runevision@mastodon.gamedev.place @efi@chitter.xyz @kizu@front-end.social The video reminded me of Switzerland - the hills and mountains below the permanent snowline are very grassy. That's mainly because the Swiss cultivate every patch of land for grazing, even very high pastures.

@runevision@mastodon.gamedev.place I think this is related to HLSL optimizer having issues with code after a discard. I think you can get around this by using if() { discard; } else {rest of code} or by discarding at the end based on a bool set where you discarded.

@aras@mastodon.gamedev.place I guess I'll just have to read all of these instead of doing my accounts. Oh well, such is life.

@TomF@mastodon.gamedev.place Intel had a DX11 tech stack for making samples, it's in the Occlusion culling sample and you could probably rip the sample code out. Sadly I can't find any docs though there must have been some.

I am certain that this is literally the dream all collies have, certainly the ones I grew up with. Well that and the one about chasing the rabbits.

@hembrow@todon.eu I am not sure if they will be able to help your particular circumstances but it might be possible to move your pension to a company which can handle international clients such as https://www.invinitive.co.uk/
I've looked into this because I might be in a similar situation in the future, but don't yet have personal experience with handling this.
