@KekunPlazas So I suppose it started after a kernel upgrade? Maybe with a older kernel work fine? Btw: you can try this kernel option as a workaround: amdgpu.gpu_recovery=1. It should make it less painful, because it reset automaticaly the gpu in working state. Also you can try to disable gpu acceleration inside firefox. I never tried because in my case the problem was only with some old 3d games. Last chance: you can alse try to use the old driver radeon. It should be possible, but I never tried this rabbit hole...

@KekunPlazas What kind of errors? I remember some years ago I got similar problems and I had at a time a quite recent amd cpu with integrated gpu. At the end I solved upgrading the kernel to the last version. I had also upgrade the bios, but it didn't fix the problems.

@cjwatson@mastodon.ie You can make tests based on execution time of the query. I usually not try this approch because you probably want some sintetic data so the time is not influenced by data size. I usually prefer a simple test on how much time it take in execution, with a reasonable time limit, just to catch extreme cases. I agree that taking a look at query plan is more deterministic, but still you can have false positive, that you need to evaluete from time to time. Seq scan can be faster than index access, it depends in data size, or result set size.
