💾 Almost finished reading "Murder in the Tool Library".

Filthy, disgusting piece of fiction. The dissonance between #solarpunk aesthetics and dystopic society is such a failure on the author's side.

I'll gather my thoughts and post a review in a few days, if time allows.

💾 After many months of writing mostly uni essays (sorry for the few updates!), I'm finally back in action, starting #Kanteletar's Section C. It's the third story (out of five planned) of my #Solarpunk novel which explores the fates of a #Library from the 21st to the 25th Century. I expect to complete a first draft by the end of July. Stay tuned!

💾 What counts as "utility" *right now* and what would you like to be considered a utility in the future?

@Voyageur_Pragmatique @teknomagic We need to have a democratic say on the ecological killer machine that has been developed and used by technofascists? The only say I see is "no".

@nextredblog "Rifiutarle sarebbe da cavernicoli", ma in tutta onestà in questo caso, con tutti gli studi sui lati negativi delle IA, è più da cavernicoli usarle senza essere consapevoli delle problematiche. No?

💾 Uni essays slowed me down but couldn't stop me! I'm back with a new short story, #solarpunk by mistake, and the punkest so far! 🤘

Replying to

@foundseed@spore.social @alxd@writing.exchange I've read recently a survey carried out in France that showed the municipalities with the highest shift to the hard-right were those where bar-tabacs were forced to shut down. So the lack of community places caused rage that the fascists promptly siphoned by pointing it at immigrants. I think this shows both things at play: yes, there should be a non-fascist faction that can channel that rage, but also that community support can help prevent things going very wrong.
