@WiteWulf Impulse eBay purchase and I am no longer jealous. 100% your fault I now own this and I'm very thankful 😅
Wedding anniversary coming up and, without fail, a card from husband's aunt and uncle that makes us laugh with the quotes around "special day".
Absolutely no malice in it whatsoever, they usually also get added to "Happy birthday" too, it's just funnier for this occasion.
"Enjoy your special, made-up day" 😂
I don't know why, upon hearing about the Historic Tale Construction Kit, my first thought was to try and recreate Jessie's moment after Ross was banished from #TheTraitors, but here we are.

Does anyone else get as wound up by the lyrics of #BrunoMars' new song "I Just Might"? Basically implying that a "pretty little lady" who can't dance to his standards isn't good enough to be with him. Shallow, ableist, cringey.
New blog post: For this week's #52Ancestors ("Conflicting Clues") I revisited the confusion around my 2x great-grandfather's date of birth.

Although now terminating at Reading. Maybe I should just get off there and see the family instead of going to the office.
Goodnight! 🌛
I really should've gone to bed already but just have to stay up and watch #Artemis II launch. All being well, 8 minutes to go! 🚀
After spending the best part of the last three days fixing and optimising a #PowerBI dashboard, if I ever see the messages "Evaluating...", "Waiting for other queries...", or "Working on it..." again, it'll be too soon.
Lee's just described the drizzley, misty weather to a friend as "smingey". The friend laughed, "what's 'smingey'?!"
Turns out it's a word from Men Behaving Badly: http://smingey.urbanup.com/1060700
I've only recently got into Tom Scott's #Lateral on YouTube and, in doing so, I've also discovered that Bill and Dani from #EscapeThisPodcast look nothing like I'd imagined whilst listening to them.
Wasn't much of a user anyway, but there goes my #discord account 👋🏻
It's great that #ReBoot is getting the attention it deserves with the brilliant preservation and restoration work that's going on.
I've come down with a cold and was watching the first few restored episodes on YouTube at 4.30 this morning feeling sorry for myself when I realised that my first animated crush wasn't Gray Edwards from Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, it was Bob!
🚀 🌕

@EdCates I put it down to people not having (or using much) a landline phone growing up.
Feeling a bit annoyed right now and need to let out a little rant, so excuse me here!
Ordered some trainers, first time buying this particular brand from them online as normally buy in-store. Annoyingly, the wide variant wasn't available (my preference as I have one foot that's shorter but wider than the other due to being born clubfooted) but didn't think it'd be a problem as I've another pair of regular width which are fine.
They've arrived... and of course they're too tight.
Went back to the website and, not only are the wide ones now available, the sale has ended and you can't exchange, only return.
Lost the sale price, (looks like I've) lost my £5 new customer discount.
Am I still going to buy a replacement pair? Of course I am 😂
