RE: @stephenrobles@mastodon.social
You know that new iPhone phone number handoff feature was made for Ternus and other execs to dual carry the Duo and 18 Pro.

Today Apple will release its new OS 27 updates!
I’ve been running the public betas of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and watchOS 27 since July. They are solid releases and I don’t see any reason not to update to the x.0 update this year.
I am looking forward to installing macOS 27 Golden Gate today.
With my beta experience, I can say that Siri AI is truly useful. Personal Context and On-Screen Awareness are game changers. I encourage you to try things you don’t think Siri could handle. It usually works!
Well, @things@mastodon.online did a great implementation of integrating with Siri AI. Well done, Cultured Code team!
I’m taking a lap on the Pro Leisure Circuit.
Today was my last day at 1Password after a role reduction.
10 years, 8 months, and 4 days.
I’m going to take a little bit of a break before I find my next workplace.

As we are about to leave 2025 behind, I wanted everyone to know:
Chris De Jabet…will return…in Avengers: Doomsday.

@gedeonm@mastodon.social Okay, so I had to ask the same question and I got an even bigger Matt LeBlanc!

@gedeonm@mastodon.social I haven’t had any noticeable problems with Face ID.
Something that may help a bit while you try to figure it out is to enable your Apple Watch under Unlock with Nearby Devices in the Face ID & Passcode settings.

@mangochutney@social.lol Seriously, the team that worked on the depth effect for the lock screen outdid themselves.

@samhenrigold Thank you for writing this, Sam. Your words took me back 30 years to growing up in the 90’s doing similar things on the family Mac. I’ll admit I even teared up a little as I reminisced.

@gedeonm@mastodon.social I don’t care which we adopt as long we pick one and stop this time travel madness.
At the theater for Spider-Man: Brand New Day!

@rizzi@gloria.social Sadly, I’ve just encountered the blank viewer again in the Classic 5.5.1 update.
No idea how to reproduce (nor from before 5.5.1), but it is still happening. 😞

@rmondello@hachyderm.io I realize this question likely isn’t one for a talk, but mine is: why the passkey for my Apple Account can’t be saved in Passwords or a third party app like 1Password?
That’s the one passkey I “have” that doesn’t live up to portability.

@zak@infosec.exchange I highly recommend the new 007 First Light game.
Not an RPG, but it is very good.

@zak@infosec.exchange I heard the knock-brush Slack sound in a video the other day and it didn’t trigger a stress response.
Is this what healing feels like?

@gedeonm@mastodon.social it’s supposed to get to 65°F in central South Dakota where I am visiting today. Normally there’s a couple feet of snow on the ground.

@gedeonm@mastodon.social Stay calm and shelter down until the all clear. You will get through this. Check in when you are able.
