@bagder@mastodon.social Oh and this one I don't have a credit for.

@bagder@mastodon.social the comic has a credit, the 2nd one is my creation (which is why it's so dumb)

@davatron5000 This is great: I was telling my son’s friend about this phenomenon and he responded with the perfect GenAlpha summation: AI is a D1 glazer, bro.

@lorenipsum Thanks for your work on this. My whole team is attending this year, which would not have been possible had it not been on the west coast. This is an undoubtedly costlier endeavor than elsewhere in the US, and just very unfortunate timing. I hope the PSF will consider publishing numbers about the observed impacts following the event.

@GaymerGeek@mstdn.games Picked TotK just because I'd already started and needed some motivation to keep going. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I'm finding the difficulty much higher than BotW.

If you're filling your cart for #BandcampFriday, first of all, fuck yeah! But also the site seems to be choking under the traffic. If you experience an error processing your cart, wait a bit... I got an error screen, but slowly each purchase went through and became available for download.

@ehmatthes@fosstodon.org @terminalmage@fosstodon.org @amcasari@hachyderm.io The Friday / Saturday Keynote dichotomy seemed like an apt representation of what Erik J. is describing. What was interesting to me is that, although first time at PyCon, I've been to several corporate and vendor conferences and a "keynote from someone selling something" is par for the course. When I read the summary that's how I pegged it and skipped. So it was enlightening to hear from others after that it was unexpected and out-of-character. And of course Pablo and @amcasari@hachyderm.io 's talks were terrific and made the whole event for me. Regardless, thank you both for sharing your experiences. Following the #PyconUS hashtag while here has been a lot of fun.

@terminalmage@fosstodon.org @ehmatthes@fosstodon.org Thanks for this thread. Being my first time, it is hard to know what to make of the vibes. But it was noticeable.

@terminalmage@fosstodon.org @ehmatthes@fosstodon.org not at all, the context is useful, I appreciate hearing it put into words.
