It's been...one of those weeks.
And then, just now, I broke a molar right down to the root so both parts are operating independently from each other (meaning, not even soft food is safe, as it gets in the crack and puts pressure that hurts)
How safe would it be to pull the 'floating' part out?
ETA: this is more uncomfortable than painful. I think the nerve has been dead for a long time, so the pain comes from pressure when the 'loose' part moves against the bone/gum. No swelling.
From Felicia Davin: "This Word Suitcase is about two books with prepositional phrases in their titles"
I'm still chuckling at "Blessed are the authors of nonfiction, for they cite their shit." (It's also why I adore genre fiction authors who add notes with all the research they weren't able to integrate in the narrative.) Finally, 'nonage' makes 'coming of age' make sense in a way that fills me with joy.

“When Barnett rails against the ‘didacticism’ of some books, we wonder who defines didactic? For Black and brown authors, for queer and trans authors, we have seen that very word used as a cudgel and dog whistle to decry the necessary diversification of children’s literature.”

Hello from inside a tiny boat.
Antisemitism, Zionism, and allyship.
Note that women overwhelmingly kill their partners to escape their abuse, while men overwhelmingly kill their partners because a) their partners want to escape them, b) they want to marry someone else without loss of money/property/control of offspring, or c) both the above.

"Hey Massachusetts! We have ten ballot Qs this year! Here’s a handy short guide about those Qs from Progressive Mass (images). Another resource is https://bluevoterguide.org/
Vote as early as you can—from 10/17 in MA. If you vote by mail, don’t send the ballot back, instead use a dropbox. Check your town’s .gov website for locations and options, and then spread the word among Democratic family and friends."
