i made a fabulous jambalaya/paella ish thing last week with squid, bacon and sausage with a shrimp shell stock and it was so delightful i did it again but with no seafood and added chicken and it is not as good i want my seafood :(

@Troggie when i last swapped my IUD they gave me an option of taking misoprostol to pre-dilate the cervix and make the insertion potentially easier/less painful; the med itself is quite a mixed bag in terms of side effects though. (i didn't go with it bc iud insertions have felt fine to me, just minor cramps, but i had horrible period cramps so i'm probably used to it). i've heard of people getting prescribed xanax or valium as well when there's evidence that weaker pain meds have not worked in the past.
