…two separate things, there. I don’t eat mayo on biscuits. But I’m not above trying it now that I think about it.
Our local movie theater has 10 screens and I literally have never even heard of the majority of movies playing.

Everybody from the various regions all had a different word. Soft drinks, soda, tonic, coke (as a generic term); but everybody laughed at the guy who called it “pop”.
I have learned an important lesson today. I don’t have the willpower necessary to keep chocolate covered nuts in the house.

I don’t care what anybody thinks. My idea of using Boosty Collins in Dunkin’ commercials that end with the catchphrase “now you’re funkin’ with Dunkin’” is genius.

Here’s a letter I didn’t expect to see in the mail today. The IRS says I owe them $13k for what they say is missing income on my 2024 tax claims based on what they’ve verified through a third-party.

@gedeonm@mastodon.social He is a narcissistic madman, and every institution meant to be a check and balance against him is either afraid, complicit, or indifferent to acting against him. Hell, they usually can’t even come up with a strongly worded rebuke. The harshest take the media can come up with is “unprecedented” because they are afraid of seeming biased. We’re stuck in a downward spiral where everyone is convinced nothing really matters anymore…at least not enough to do anything about it.
