@Gargron@mastodon.social did you notice the setup for the neon signs? There was a background gag about a neon sign maker with huge discounts for locals

@jasongorman@mstdn.business I agree learning is one of the most valuable things. It’s a tough one to get imperial data on, but our time from insight/idea to iteration/impact has gone from ~6 months to 1-2 days on average... meaning we’re able to learn and iterate much faster.

@davew@mastodon.social with the latest models (e.g. Claude Opus 4.6), actually surprisingly well. To the point where it makes writing a bunch of junk less of an issue since it can tidy up after itself surprisingly well

@mwichary@mastodon.online agreed. It’s not a technology problem, it’s a business model problem.

@Gargron@mastodon.social thanks for carrying it this far. Mastodon didn’t just replace Twitter for me, it reminded me just how good non-algorithmic social networking is

@yiningkarlli the calculator framing is a great one, I wonder how maths education has evolved since the introduction of the calculator? Are students being taught higher-order subjects now (more architectural than procedural) than they would have been pre-calculator?
