@Melezioh@mstdn.games @BriBear@blahaj.zone @crazyeddie@mastodon.social @Melezioh@mstdn.games @BriBear@blahaj.zone @crazyeddie@mastodon.social I understand! We’re roughly on the same page. Words are tricky, and my reading was also shaped by how toxic I’ve found speech against women myself. I’m glad I asked so I can get a broader view! Just as a 2c thing, the concrete (shitty) actions were more helpful for me to understand what is going on than the abstract concept (that some of us read entirely different). Just in case it helps for communicating in the future!

@kittyboy77@tech.lgbt @BriBear@blahaj.zone @Melezioh@mstdn.games @crazyeddie@mastodon.social I replied elsewhere, but thanks for clarifying. Those “jokes” are unacceptable and I’m sorry you’ve found them here. I’ll keep my eye out to report and call out shit like that

@BriBear@blahaj.zone @Melezioh@mstdn.games @crazyeddie@mastodon.social I think we’re both on the same page! I also think it depends a lot on what is meant here, and was curious what OP meant too since it wasn’t clear to me what they meant that could be negative

@overcastfm@mastodon.social Hi there! Would it be possible to add the release date of an episode to the shortcuts info? For comparison here is what Apple Podcast can get from an episode (which I’d love, but I’d settle for the release date)

Hello world! (v0.4.0)

This is my latest iteration of experimenting with the Fediverse in trying to find a server to settle in.
I'm moving from @argentum@hachyderm.io in the upcoming days, so this is sort of a placeholder.

My posts autodelete after two weeks.

@overcastfm@mastodon.social I’d love to be able to do more with the starred episodes. Could we have a Starred tab, in addition to Current and All? I would also love to be able to star an episode from the “now playing” thing. I often start to listen to something and move away from that list, and have to go back to the podcast and find the episode again if I want to star it.

@kakape is it known how the woman was returning to the Netherlands once she got off the cruise? Or how do they know it’s not likely to spread further or become a pandemic? (Thinking about those 8 weeks the virus needs)

@Melezioh@mstdn.games @BriBear@blahaj.zone @crazyeddie@mastodon.social Agree those “jokes” are unacceptable and can rightly fuck off. Forcing anyone to do anything rightly so can also be sent to fuck-off-land. Just the tiny bit that makes me feel a little odd is the “making them like women” phrasing, as if that was negative, since it’s abstract and can mean so many things. But I get generally what you mean now, and I’m sorry you have found that here.
