A dollhouse commission for a scenery sticker.
A little sneak peek of the piece I’m currently working on. I’m around halfway through. Need to add more details to the foreground, draw characters and other things. But the background is almost done.

- The Kitchen
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, the gardener and the stable boy are almost done with their game. The chance of victory is equal. While in the pantry, a handmaiden fetching some peaches for a pie is startled by a rat. The room is filled with sweet aroma of pie.
It is time for dessert.

- The Servants' Quarters
In the servant's quarters, a handmaid is hiding a relic. Perfectly timed since everyone else is busy. She is disturbed by a “click-clack” sound coming from butler’s room. She knows that the butler is working and that the room upstairs is vacant. Could it be the ghost she heard stories about?
Lately I've been feeling so filled with happiness because we have our puppy Neva with us now. How much she helped me when our sweetest Saga passed away. I just love her so much, I feel like my heart can explode 😅 She is so different from Saga and Eddie, really her own person. So affectionate and so funny, so sweet. Feeling so grateful for finding her.

Just a note, in case someone was wondering, this piece was not intended for Easter. It was just a random idea I had for a while and happened to have one week to draw a personal piece and finished it yesterday, posting right away. I had no idea it was Easter.
I'm trying to catch up on some music I missed over the years and found this excellent album by Marina Herlop

@jze@norden.social Thank you very much! I thought posting each room one by one could help to read the piece better :) I'm glad you liked the idea.

@partyinthefront@mstdn.social Thank you Luis! Yes, I use procreate. The canvas is 50 x 32 cm at 300 dpi. I usually draw on smaller canvases. The app performed well but I kept running out of layers. There's a limit to layers when you use a bigger canvas in procreate.

@bluejay@ohai.social They are large except for the last one. Not available as prints sadly, since they all were commissioned.

@mrencyclopedia@retro.pizza In the last 6 months! :D I thought I should summarize my hardest work somehow at one point.

@jill@mastodon.de of course! This piece was just from my imagination. I wanted to draw a composition with circular elements and imagined a round arch with a pool kind of reflecting the arch and then just started building other elements around them. But if I do pieces inspired by certain historical periods, I look at some references for architecture and ornaments just to grasp a general idea of the shapes and motifs.

@astrovore@gts.vidja.club Thank you! This one won't be a puzzle but will be turned into a scenery sticker.

@Albirew@soshar.dess.ga Oh, cat is hard to find! Thank you for taking your time to look at them closely :)

@cynblogger@sfba.social Thank you! :) I drew it on my ipad. These types of commissions in particular need to be digital because the details will be disassembled for printing.
