The fact that the GTK.AboutDialog has parameters specifically for crediting developers, translators, and artists speaks so much about the ecosystem.
Software created by people for people. That's the future in this sloppy world.

@kev at work the GitHub outages have caused significant issues, multiple times we’ve been unable to fix production bugs due to broken pipelines, not being able to review PRs, etc. We take bets now on what time of the day GitHub will go down.
I’ve started creating any new projects in Codeberg, probably won’t ever get around to migrating old projects though.

Floppy disk sized software has changed my mind on AI.

Icon design is so not my strong suit
The micro interactions in Planify are what make great software. The simple animations, the little sound when you complete a task, so nice.
Software should enhance the platform it's on. Look native, integrate well and sprinkle an excellent UX on top of it.
That's what makes native different.

@weston Rust + Iced has been my choice as it's so easy to get setup and run builds.
If you want to test out GTK, try using Gnome Builder as it takes care of the complex build system and dependencies for you (there's a number of languages you can choose from). I'd avoid Rust + GTK though, it's not a great dev experience.
