Anyone know a good path for my niece (just starting middle school this year) in SW Michigan to get on puberty blockers? All the clinics near her family have dropped that as an option. Is there a DIY route?

I hereby promise that this update will have absolutely no subtle politics. I also promise that there will be no subtle derision of AI LLMs, drone delivery, corporate trademarks, locked-down technology, gender-critical opinions, or always-on telemetry.
I am heading to the UK for work next week (specifically, to Telford by way of BHX). Is there anything in particular I, as a visibly and proudly out trans woman, should be aware of in that area of TERF Island?
Secondarily, anywhere I should make sure to go/see as a tourist, given that I will likely not have time during the workdays?
...am I playing Factorio wrong? I find myself ankle-deep (the wrong way) in GraphML and networkit to answer questions like "what is the best surface to get cryonite from?", "what is the most central location to the system to build the science platform?", etc.

@scy@chaos.social as a USian, I can attest that our media is hella prudish about this given our actual lived experiences. Might just be because most of the time, I work around blue-collar folk in manufacturing environments, but I swear like the best of them.
To the point where I have to make conscious effort to self-police my speech if I am working with either small children or senior management.

@erisceleste@tech.lgbt thanks! For safety's sake, I am skipping the car (a life spent driving in the US on the left, seems like a poor choice to try to adapt for a five-day trip, especially in a country known for transit), but I will certainly spend some time rambling around Telford.

@JeSuisUnHombre@lemmy.zip yeah, we might not be actively informed about it, but it is not really surprising given all of the other awful going on.

@roadriverrail@signs.codes That *is* largely what I have been picking up from various podcasting hosts from over there too, but coming from the US, I am just...I guess traumatized? Into semi-paranoid preparation.
Thanks for the info!
