@Chloeg@mastodon.art @heliographe_studio@mastodon.social it's sad that it's true. These icons were most likely part of many training datasets for AI models.
Do you like birds? Do you own an Android phone?
Then you should enjoy whoBIRD (https://f-droid.org/packages/org.woheller69.whobird/) by woheller69.
This wonderful open-source app identifies birds from their chirps. It's fully offline (needs to download a 55 MB model on first use) and works really well. I enjoy walking down the streets of my village while this app is running and learning to recognize birds around me.

Interestingly, ETM is the name of my wifi network 😅, but it means "Enter The Matrix" here (and all the machines connected to it are named after Matrix characters).

@swisspaddy@swiss.social The simplest way to install this app (and many others) is to install the F-Droid open-source app catalogue.
You can follow the instructions from this page to get F-Droid installed: https://f-droid.org/en/docs/Get_F-Droid/#option-2-download-and-install-f-droid-apk
Trying out BasicSync on my Android phone (https://github.com/chenxiaolong/BasicSync). So far so good!
