@merchantHelios@poa.st Yeah, it really peaked in August last year, popularity slowly ramping up over the last 3 years. Many artists now add an empty spot in the middle of their specular highlights. I assume most of them don't even know it's a ring_light_reflection, they would probably say "I saw someone else do it and think it looks good". So you get nonsensical situations like this.

@AWIVR Looks interesting. I mainly use hydrus for gathering datasets. Seems like one advantage this has is cross-referencing the series tag with AniList. So it might be useful if you don't already have a girl in mind.

Very cool! I'm guessing you used ammonia to turn it blue? I use a UV dry film process to make custom PCBs. A resin 3D printer exposes the mask, so I'm limited by the size of the LCD. Your post reminded me I have some black FR4 lying around that I've been meaning to etch art into. Copper against a black background looks exceptionally nice. Could be an idea worth researching for your business. I'll tag you when I make something worth showing off.

@coolboymew@shitposter.world @eee@poa.st @pinemarten@poa.st I've thought about this too. Microsoft Trellis 2 can generate 3D assets from an image. From there you could clean it up in Blender, then 3D print it with a resin printer. Someday I'll have the time to try it out.
