Just became consciously aware of the term “lethal autonomous weapons” and am horrified to learn these exist in our reality. I realize maybe I’m behind the curve finding this out just now. What a world we live in, though, where the wealthy and powerful devote massive resources to the development of such weapons while hunger still exists.

Today I learned that Quiet Riot’s “Cum On Feel the Noize” was a cover. I learned this while poking around listening to songs by Slade after discovering their song Merry Xmas Everybody, which is definitely one of the best Christmas songs ever written. I would like to understand how I haven’t heard it in my nearly fifty years of life until just yesterday. #music #rock #doctorwho

@KronoGarrett@meow.social @resuna@ohai.social Seaside and Davenport come to mind.

@markwyner@mas.to Hope is absolutely essential if we want a better world. Thanks for sharing.

@siderea@universeodon.com @KronoGarrett@meow.social @resuna@ohai.social Yes! The issue with medications being made by the lowest bidder should have us all worried. Did you hear about that eye drop recall? Horrifying stuff.

@ylegall@genart.social I could stare at this for hours.
