mastodon 4.7.3Hi I'm Robin. Artist, parent, queer, AuDHD. currently working on making an income from my art while raising my first child.
I post my art, bakes, nature photos & life observations. No AI.
I like to boost funny toots and inspiring art. I only boost images with alt-text.
I sometimes share my drawings of food which I will use the #food hashtag on, if you need to filter this.
Another tiny artwork completed! I miss those Spring days when the fields were full of daisies.
Do you want to become the owner of this tiny piece of art? Maybe you can! https://robiscuitart.etsy.com/uk/listing/4569969029/original-mixed-media-frog-artwork
Finished converting another one of my digital illustrations to physical media (because I love how using collage and paint makes everything so much more textured).
Digital illustration I made earlier this year: @Robiscuit@mastodon.art

I've had to turn off EU shipping in my Etsy shop because I have no idea how deal with the new packaging laws that have come in recently, and I don't have the brain capacity to figure that out right now 😑 Sorry to any EU folks who might have wanted to buy something, I hope to sort it out some time later this year.
In the meantime, if any small art businesses know of any easy-to-follow resources on dealing with PPWR, please do let me know 💖
Another drawing of a frog in a fun environment, a collection I've apparently started.

By the end of the year I want to set up a shop to sell my original artwork. I've heard that Etsy is a bit crap these days, and I'm currently considering using Folksy or Big Cartel. Would be very grateful if anyone has any insight into these options for selling art, or if anyone has had a good experience selling on any other platforms/services.
