That teacher's comment irks me so much.
On of the women in my high school Chemistry class went on to be a Chemistry professor. There were only two women in a class of 25.

Canadian in Australia here. Annual blood test standard here.
Elevated PSA got me an MRI; MRI was iffy, so due for a biopsy on February 3rd.
We'll see how that pans out, but right now I am pretty happy with Medicare here in Australia.

For my last two years on Twitter, and my first three years on Mastodon, I used to post a reply to mansplainer complaints - the "From where does a mansplainer get his glass of water ..." joke.
After 5 years, I was tired of doing that (and the joke was OLD).
I cannot imagine how tired women are of this nonsense.

This is so cool. I wasn't quite old enough to know about Unix at the time, but it is fascinating to see where it was at in 1973.
