Today is a special day again. Today is Girls'Day.

We all are part of a social system, that influences our decisions and beliefs or form gender roles.

Girls'Day encourages the surroundings of young women – i.e. families, school, media and employers – to participate in the campaign and change their common attitudes towards vocational orientation. Today is Girls'Day in Germany but many other countries around the world have campaigns with this goal.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

A good reminder that mental health is not always visible, but it is always part of our overall well being. It can show up in different ways, and it is often easy to overlook, both in ourselves and in others.

Taking care of it requires intention. That can mean learning more, checking in with ourselves, or creating space where others feel safe to speak openly.
