Psst. You like katsu? If so, here's some tonkatsu from Tokyo Crispy, 1600 Merivale Rd. The side of shredded cabbage in tangy dressing made an excellent combo and cut the fried heaviness of the main attraction. Yummy! Plate shown also came with white rice, miso soup and pickled daikon. Rice was rice, soup was soup, no notes. Was expecting salty, but daikon was sweet. There was also the traditional Bulldog to go with it, although the Bulldog was actually clearly not Bulldog brand, but close to Bulldog and still very good. #Ottawa #SupportLocal
