It looks positively otherworldly in the best sense.
In Sweden is a piece of wood left alone for a century now, which looks much different because its northern europe of course, but I felt the same way when I was there.

Yes, and I am mainly concerned for the availability of "historic" movies, 15 years old or so and older. Some classics (not uber cult hits like the godfather, but noir classics and such) were just published on DVD once, and are already hard to find. This will get worse.

Well, it seems there was an established but somewhat niche term which described something adjacent but in the end much different thing which was newly adapted to obfuscate that a decade old process was severely limited to gain more control over users devices (inhales).

@bithive@social.tchncs.de @tante@tldr.nettime.org This was my stance, when the AI pictures were hyped, and the middle ground was: well, there is a use in replacing stock photography. It says much about the value of these pictures: its just visual noise. Its broadly the same here. Good visualisation won't be replaced, as won't be good texts / authors. One might argue though that "boilerplate writing" / stock photography, is akin to a low stakes training ground on the way to artistry.

Der letzte tatsächlich richtig gute, den ich auch mochte, war Predestination mit Ethan Hawke. Wenn Du Zeitreisekrams magst, dann nichts lesen und schauen.
Prey ist kein schlechter Film, aber nicht mehr meins.

Omfg, finally someone who feels like me, I feel so seen and vindicated. That is such a strange disorganised random jumble of notes and instruments, its such a mess...
And you are right about George Michael of course, I had the same journey about him as you had, learned bits and bobs about him over the years, and the charity thing is new to me. What a guy!

Wieder was gelernt!

@tante@tldr.nettime.org When I have to use Chrome(ium) for compatibility, I use Ungoogled Chromium, which aims to delete the privacy breaches. Please keep in mind that I am no expert on "V3" or browser privacy, and therefore cannot say if the project is able to handle that in a meaningful way.
