@lorepozo@tech.lgbt I'm not non-binary myself, but I've heard the term "mapa" being used.

@dekompozycja totally get that, our daughter also gets called a boy often. In a couple of progressive parent spaces I've been, it's pretty common to ask "is name a boy or a girl" or a variation thereof. It was a welcomed change!

@bugmanjones@techhub.social omg that's so pretty! Congrats! My kid is far too young, and for now, the wrong language too (but I'd love to hear if it later gets translated into Spanish!).

@FeloniousPunk Minus the sabotage part, check out Eastshade. You paint stuff, explore the landscape, and help a few folks along the way.

@jaz@toot.wales I am aware of this case scenario, but only because it literally happened to me (someone had access to a long-deleted post)

@FrazzledBrynn@glitterkitten.co.uk too cute 😍

@dekompozycja thanks for the info! Observation is there indeed, my worry is that I'm her only Spanish-speaking reference, so there's much fewer chance of hearing these things in action. But I guess she'll also learn the difference in Dutch and can apply it to Spanish then 🤔

@alfiekohn I'm a bit lost on your second paragraph wording. The "AND" specifically. Don't those studies show that conceptual education > step by step plus conceptual education? This is not my area of expertise at all, but I'm very interested in education so I'd like to try and understand these concepts better.

@dekompozycja@mastodon.com.pl not quite, she just doesn't seem to understand/know there's a difference between boys and girls. So I wanna know how to help her without resorting to stereotypes and such.
