Feeling a bit pistol-whipped by the the attitudes about classroom management, tech incorporation, and hair gel. So not up for the sequel. But thanks, as always to @Taweret@timeloop.cafe, @Cherizilla@mastodon.social and @JoeWynne@mstdn.plus for an action-packed #Monsterdon

Just the right amount of sun and rain this spring. The hydrangeas are finally thriving. #BloomScrolling

I should have voted for this one earlier. Yes, the human acting was horrible—but it was a classic monster story! Thanks, @Taweret@timeloop.cafe, @Cherizilla@mastodon.social and @JoeWynne@mstdn.plus for some good stompy #Monsterdon fun.

Sadly, I’m looking for a new instance in the next week or two. Any recommendations for a stable, yet nerdy new home on Mastodon?

@Taweret@timeloop.cafe Holding out hope that it’ll have some Castle of Otranto vibe, I’m voting again for the rogue conquistador #Monsterdonalert

Totally non-localized. If it’s approaching “the city” you can show this anywhere. #Monsterdon

Yeah, I guess we knew how derivative that plot would be. And it was. Some solid second tier actors and some variable special effects. Kind of the definition of a B film. Happy Bingo to everyone who won. Thanks, @Taweret@timeloop.cafe, @Cherizilla@mastodon.social and @JoeWynne@mstdn.plus for another fun #Monsterdon.

@spradlig@mathstodon.xyz The school would like it all it one place—easier to run the same accessibilty checker on, for example. But yeah, personally I’m wary of the consistency of any cloud storage.

So yeah, Canvas, the learning management system our university uses got hacked this afternoon. I had already downloaded my grade roster. But many students are now prevented from uploading final work, since this is the end of finals week. Interesting times.

@PhoenixSerenity@beige.party From me, sure. From the larger school--we'll see what happens, how long its down for, etc.

The tedious old man, the menacing rapist, and dull plot sunk what could have been an interesting telepathic zombie film. Ah well. Thanks, @Taweret@timeloop.cafe, @Cherizilla@mastodon.social and @JoeWynne@mstdn.plus for the chance to share a partially irradiated future #Monsterdon

A bubbling batch of fireworks is going off in the neighborhood. Not gunshots, but the frenzied, showy kind. I think it’s for the children’s hospital. It takes me by surprise every summer. It’s fun.

In 15 minutes, log on to Tubi and join in for the group viewing of “In the Year 2889” (1969), tonight’s #Monsterdon film. Because posting a stream of snark is the best way to process post-nuclear Earth stories. See you there!

It's almost time for school run amok with tonight’s #Monsterdon film, The Class of 1999 (1990). Tune in to see robots quelling gangs, and join in the tooting. In fifteen minutes.
