There's also the ethical questions of how these models are trained and how they operate these data centers. Even if every data center was solar powered and they only trained on public domain works. I don't want to build anything where I am essentially locked in like that.

Every time someone posts on Bluesky about how it is an echo chamber or insignificant compared to X it sets off a long chain of everyone posting their take on what social media needs to be. We have now landed on the everything that isn't Tiktock, Intagram or Snapchat is irreverent part. My take is that social media shouldn't be one thing and if we are finally getting to the part where one site can no longer become the entire internet that's good actually. Also I hate short form video.
Looking more and more like China is going to take over the world without firing a single shot. It's a real "are we the baddies" moment for us.

Also the legal number of seats/seat size is regulated based on passenger egress. So having a huge hatch all the passengers could get out at once would let them cram us is there even tighter than they already do.
