Geek vs Nerd vs Dork?:
Yes
Been super paranoid of using the gyms I have access to whenever I'm at work because my workout clothes /really/ do not hide my boobs. Which, yay, but also I'm not out at work.
But my GP reminded me I probably should do the cardio thing.
I went on the spin cycle for the first time in months, maybe in 2026, and now my butt's sore.
"First" is a word and order not a number, therefore I propose that "1st" be pronounced "onest" since that's what's written.

@AutisticInnovator Raising the prices on poor people, lowering prices for those who can afford it anyway. Yet another example of how expensive it is to be poor
Got a letter from one of my nibblings; it was addressed to Aunt [Kola]. My heart....
I tried to look up why certain apps won't show up on the application dock for my OS. And the top-rated response was "If you don't know how to use that feature, you shouldn't be using it."
And just, like. Great. Thanks. Fuck me I guess. I'm glad you're a very smart special boy. Good job gold star.
I love love love what HRT's doing to me.
Ravens are so peak it's unreal
Canada: "We want Pilots!"
Me: "Okay, I'm a pilot I have 8 years work experience over a thousand hours PIC in widebody aircraft, I have my Transport Canada ATPL, and I aced the language test you told me to take."
Canada: "We award you no points go fuck yourself"
The bird has awoken!

I'm never going to financially recover from this....
Good morning, gay-mers
Y'all. Floss yo teeth.
Seriously. At the very least it's annihilated my bad breath. Because if you don't floss, gunk just builds up between your teeth and the bad breath germs love that gunk. Yes, it's destroying your teeth but it's also making everyone around you hate it when you speak.
Floss. Your. Teeth.

@spottyfox@pounced-on.me I think slimes are virtually always grounded and thus pretty well immune to getting hit by lightning.
Thinking about how the most recent time I tried to play Bioshock: Infinite was with a friend who really liked that game.
But I made it clear at the start: I like exploring, I like figuring things out, I play games to do those things and backseat gaming ruins that for me. So please don't do that.
They agreed.
The exact moment I had agency in the game they said "oh turn around and check the trash can at the back of the room."
And I just turned off the game.

@roxy@chitter.xyz New game mode where there's no go-fast option and a 0.5-1 second delay between inputs and her movements?

@ziphi I have given this entirely too much thought.
It never occurred to me there

@pandora_parrot@beach.city It's definitely strange for me. I was super hyped about NASA exploration and SLS in general. I stayed up all night to get the grainy first photos from MSL.
I should have been having my face glued to every video every press release every picture....
But I can't seem to bring myself to care.

"Us, we’re common, we’re the grass of the universe, and we take pride in our commonness, that it’s so widespread, and we thought it could encompass everything. It was a kind of schema we took with us when we set off intrepidly and joyfully on our long journey: other worlds! But what exactly are they, those other worlds? We’d conquer them or we’d be conquered, there was nothing else in those wretched brains of ours. It wasn’t worth it. It really wasn’t."
