That feeling when you realize Appreciate a Dragon Day is still like eight or nine months away.

It me. I am a selkra. “Dragon” is correct in the sense that it describes my shape well enough. But “dragon” is vague and not very descriptive.
One day my species will be the question to a Jeopardy! clue, because everybody will know that I have transformed into a beautiful selkra, but only a select few will know what the species is called.
But I won’t be able to win at jeopardy because I’m too busy being gorgeous and not having human vocal organs.
I know there are scaly kobolds and furry kobolds, but I just came to a revelation:
A feathery kobold would just be an Avali.
Do not kiss reptiles because you might get salmonella.
Unless it’s a dragon, then it’s probably worth it.
Remember: The key to humor on the internet is to say “No, but…”
Just really take the wind out of their sails to make your own joke.
