Oh, #HomeAssistant can now check and update #RaspberryPi firmware.
Oh, I maybe should have checked that myself when I got this Pi.
Maybe I shouldn't update before finding a better USB cable (the Pi is powered from an #EcoFlowRiver, that should have ample power...)
Not using the cloud is easy!
To add some events to my calendar I just had to first:
- trace the problem to be not Thunderbird, #Radicale itself, or Syncthing;
- kill Radicale, find where my config is and start it with --debug;
- find what caused that specific strange error with #DecSync;
- find the corrupted 'sequences' file, try to repair it manually and pray!

@volt4ire I've seen "pay for binaries" before, especially for mobile apps. Sometimes the compromise is: binaries available on F-Droid.

Pardon the train geekery...
I look both ways too, despite rail safety systems being rated for a dangerous failure of ≥ 10^−9 to < 10^−8 per hour.

@osm_tech@en.osm.town in my experience, it helps if you have local representatives so journalists can speak with, and write about, a person in their own region.

Well I've been known to fly off my bike myself from time to time, so I guess it's a me-problem ;)

Fun! Something functionally similar existed on IRC and Telegram. On the latter I played Cards Against Humanity with the CaH_bot, iirc. There must be code available.

But yeah, those new Yutong busses in Utrecht city are apparently riddled with bugs/teething problems...
SmartComments enables you to highlight text and comment on that section in #mediawiki, with a central page where you can review, reply to and close all comments.
With #SemanticMediaWiki it also gives semantic annotation.

in the meantime, at least we can find our friendslist and check who's on the Fediverse https://pruvisto.org/debirdify

Could ergonomic/padded handlebar grips help cushion and distribute the load on your wrists and arms?
I'm quite happy with the Ergon grips on one of my bikes.
