@inthehands TBF she's not the first author to support iffy shit. What annoys me is: This woman could've had it all and die an icon if she had shut her mouth, not pick fights with a marginalized community, and go all contrarian to the far right when called out for her bullshit. Was it better to support a covert bigot? IDK. But I do know that her actions ruined her legacy and harmed fun literature tools. It reframed her fun use of puns for names into distasteful slurs. I hope the remake flops.

@rbreich@masto.ai Bold of you to assume all artists are paid. People with less than 1k streams, like myself, don't get paid. Even my one stream every once in a blue moon, doesn't count. The revenue goes to the pool to pay artists with more than 1k artists. Including big labels.
