Is there a good diy usb tuning knob project out there that can easily be build?

Im planning to get a bit more into the hobby again and this would come in very handy.

Im thinking about something like the rc-28

Has anyone of my followers ever designed a pcb that was „sold“ later?
If so, how high was the certification effort?

Id loke to get my pcb to the people but i doubt that many would be able and have the tools to solder it.

My idea would be selling it finished but i want to go 100% safe and legal.

The prototype boards for my allsky heater+ project arrived and it seems they are working fine. :)

Now its coding time.

I know that a fellow ham made a project like this because i designed and milled a housing for it but that was long ago on twitter and i dont have the contact anymore. :/

Any hint is apreciated!
