I see so many who censor their own writing even in private messages. Like, writing f**k instead of fuck.

When I came here, I said that I wasn't into #photography as much anymore and now I'm going to post some #photos I took in my new #garden :D
There's a huge bush, that I can't identify, because I don't now much about plants, but bees love it! (Looks like a kind of #elderflower though)

To the surprise of no one, I realized this week that I feel much better about my day, if I grt something small done in the morning. Just a small household chore, doing laundry, doing the dishes, instead of immediately sitting at my PC looking at the internet and video games... 🤷

@Andii @pluralistic The German minister for economy recently used this as avreason to lower renewable subsidies. The german grid can't handle all this excess power and so we should stop building renewables. Instead we should build new gas power plants to cover times of low solar.
No surprise, she used to work as a gas lobbyist before her office.

Every now and then I think about Anthony Hopkins' performance in The remains of the day and I am in awe.
Honestly, I don't think I've seen #acting this impressive before.
I often have a vague feeling of wanting to create something, but I never know what. Neither thematically, nor by which medium. So weird and uncomfortable 🙄
I've been playing the #MassEffect trilogy, and I haven't played #ME3 since its release. Now I know why. That game is BAD. Such wonky animations. Such annoying plot. Sidequests feel useless and the whole thing is just super unengaging. Too bad. I don't think I'll finish it.
Recently someone shared a #study that said that #political #polarization does not come from both sides moving to the extremes, but mainly the #right moving to the right.
Does anyone remember that and can send me a link?

@pluralistic@mamot.fr I have been wondering for a while: What is the point of multi-GBit internet connections at home? I have 100MBit atm and the only time it bothers me is when I donwnload a new video game. And even then it's really only a small bother.
