1) I made it to the venue despite the train cock up.
2) We won an award.
3) The table had FIVE complimentary bottles of wine (almost one per person) but the only non alcoholic drink was a single cup of tea or coffee offered after dinner.
4) It was amazing food.
And the butt that took over an hour to sculpt. A piece I did for Halloween and I'm fairly pleased with.
And I've started the next issue of my comic in a record 2-3 weeks instead of 2-3 months.
And a find thought for the day: I'm wearing a lot of layers and drinking a hot drink, but God, I feel so lucky that I'm indoors and that my home is a different temperature inside from the absolutely horrible cold outside.
Nerdy Daz thing - I set up Iray Server on my PC a couple of weeks ago, and I'm so happy I did.
It's queue functionality means that I've been able to complete 3 pages of my comic in one day (I've never managed to be that productive before).
And Daz wrote the word 'Black Friday' on their website, thereby triggering my financial incontinence.
Damnnit, I meant to use the hashtag 'Buttstodon' and I forgot. Bah.

I have to get off here and start winding down for sleep.
I do like it massively better than Twitter though.
Scrolling on Masto is like, " I didn't know you could make a maze that intricate and also make it look like a frog," rather than doom scrolling.
I understand some but not all of the financial factors involved, but reading it... did I just read about 2025's Northern Rock?
