On Saturday @seoni@chaos.social held a „3D-Modeling and -Printing Beginners Workshop“ with open source 3D-CAD Software: @freecad@social.freecad.org . The results of which you can see on the pictures and screenshots from „M“.
We‘re excited to see all the upcoming 3d models and prints in our hackspace in the coming months.

Microsoft is giving away BitLocker keys stored as a „backup“ in users Microsoft accounts to the FBI. This once again proves, that BitLocker is not safe nor that you trust Microsoft with „keeping your keys safe“ or caring about users privacy.
If you want proper full disk-encryption, use LUKS with your favourite Linux-Distro.
If you can’t move away from Windows, there is VeraCrypt. It does full disk encryption with passphrase and without microsoft.https://veracrypt.io/
