We've defederated with holm.community as it would appear to be solely bots running on the instance, with the admin account following close to 20k accounts and purely boosting random posts (including quite old, unpinned ones).
Users on a number of instances have also reported the admin user randomly liking very old posts from their feeds. Would suggest other admins take a close look at your users' interactions with this one.
Went to the gym for the first time in like 15 years today. I really don't enjoy exercise but was good to try and start to build the habit.

I had a pretty catastrophic misconfiguration in my k8s cluster for three years.
One day Mastodon, Peertube et al fell over. It was a fundamental error so it was quick to diagnose and correct.
I still don't know how they functioned for a year with no issues.

I'm also trying out Smart Launcher, which is slick af, and I'm really loving the Feeds Page. Only thing I wish it could do is consume the dynamic OPML from my FreshRSS instance to keep its sources synced.
Over the last three days the Meta AI user agent has been absolutely smashing our sign up page using random tokens - around one request per second.
All being blocked at the edge of course, but has anyone seen this???
While I don't use AWS for anything (and probably never will), their recent announcement enabling to use of S3 as a fully functional filesystem is pretty cool.
I wonder if other object storage providers will look to follow this.

Along with user reports and my own observations of course.
