Thanks for pointing me at Femme Feral - I finished it this past weekend, and though it was was pretty good. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
I quite like Irn Bru. On a very hot day, I dilute it with cold water.

The working machine is not network connected so I load Audacity onto a thumb drive, thence onto the computer, plug everything in, and test the setup with a different casette to make sure things are working.

I press play on the tape deck, record on the computer, and 14 minutes later, I've got my songs!
They aren't very good. One isn't too bad, and I actually quite like the bass line I put together for another one.But I've heard them for the first time in thirty years.
