I think a text editor should just stay, well, a text editor. its only job should be to let you comfortably edit text and provide a good user experience while being lightweight, not by wording in the readme, it should be. I don't really think a text editor that is like 190 mb is lightwait, not to mention the 290 mb ram usage, for a text editor, with no document open, even while it uses native controls is just bad.

@ansuz@gts.cryptography.dog O hell no. India is pritty hot as it is.

@Aman@dragonscave.space Hello everyone, I am now running a compiled version of the server instead of the entire source code as well as have started takeing backups of the server database, However, in this process, all the previous accounts were lost, which i tryed to recover but i couldn't, apologies for that oversite. for those who had accounts, kindly recreate them, and i assure you that this will never happen again. Thanks for understanding.

@TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space I want to know what it is.

@jonathan859@someplace.social @Aman@dragonscave.space Alright, so i looked into this. I think i am going to saddly still stic with the native forms system we currently have, only because firstly it will require us to do a lot of work now if we try to intigrate accesskit because the native forms classes are already almost complete, and we will be pulling a rust dependency and will need to make that intigrated into the build system. Also, as it currently stands, We don't plan to open source the Nvgt fork only because it has a lot more than just native forms. You have working notifications support, you have background services etc.

@Aman@dragonscave.space hello everyone, The new version using the server from @matt has been released. Also, we also have a website running at https://boostofstudios.duckdns.org where you can download the game instead of messing with github!

back in the Business, for now. its not perfectly repaired but enough that i can use it.

@simon@procrastodon.net do you have show suggestions while typing on the physical keyboard turned on by any chance

@TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space You know, I'm actually considering this now. A few days ago I still hoped that I could possibly last a few more months using this device but now I'm not convinced I could. When I looked into options of buying Indian gift cards using US credit cards, some sources say that they work, some sources say they not.

Well, now it has become just useless. The display broke in such a way from one side of the hinge that now I cannot open the lid because if I do I might end up breaking it from the other side as well. I also have various other issues with the device but I cannot write them down because I am on a phone right now and typing on it really does not work well for me

Already got told that there is a very minimal chance of the repair being useful but let's see

@JenMsft Its the end of sunday for me 😔

@amir@dragonscave.space @TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space We don't have a build pipeline setup for android yet. More information will become available as this app starts to shape up.

@Aman@dragonscave.space @mckensie@tweesecake.social O they had to get sponsors lol. They've to do that.

@jscholes@dragonscave.space @TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space Sure I can use my dad's UPI. I am not 18 so I don't have it myself

@mckensie@tweesecake.social @Aman@dragonscave.space obviously.

@dhamlinmusic@dragonscave.space @TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space I actually take this thing to school or where ever i go and i don't think a mini pc would let me do that.

@TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space I think they already have this thing called voice boost that just boosts the voice of a person speeking in the video. but i still like to download and watch shit tbh. I just use foo youtube much of the time.

@Aman@dragonscave.space You like math a bit too much don't you?

@mckensie@tweesecake.social @Aman@dragonscave.space idk. They could've given a pendrive to him lol, that would be more useful. I also have the certificate for participating and i'm keeping that. But Half of the stuff they do is bullshit. I wouldn't want to rant about them here more than that, who knows their mite be some other loyal to nab student on mastodon besides me and aman who mite get our asses kicked lol.

@dhamlinmusic@dragonscave.space @TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space Device? System Model; Value: VivoBook_ASUSLaptop X409FAC_X409FA Processor; Value: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-10110U CPU @ 2.10GHz, 2501 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)

@TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space @dhamlinmusic@dragonscave.space So seems like i had 2 cores but the resource moniter addon counts the logical processers. Hence it used to show 4 cors when showing this cpu load thing.

@TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space I bloody want a pixel lol.

@bot@fwoof.space @mew@fwoof.space na android studio's emulater sucks, even on expensive devices.

@jscholes@dragonscave.space @TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space lmfao.

@bscross32@tweesecake.social specs?

@johann@dragonscave.space @TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space No i don't think that can be done, and even if we did, i wouldn't get proper warranty for the product. I was told by gemini that you can login into amazon.in and do stuff, or by giftcards even and then email to the person but i am not sure how accurate it was.

@alexhall@mastodon.social @TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space Alright, I think I finally fixed it for the next dev build.

@TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space I really appreciate this and I'd honestly be up for this, but i'm bound by a lack of a payment method like paypal.

@Aman@dragonscave.space congrats my bro. And yeah, that card seems a fuckin scam to me. Who the fuck uses a hoverboard. would nab even allow it if you brot it in?

@mckensie@tweesecake.social @Aman@dragonscave.space The 3100 rs is on him though.

@Aryan@dragonscave.space @jonathan859@someplace.social @Aman@dragonscave.space Like i've used it before in another project but I don't know if its the best option for audiogames.

@mckensie@tweesecake.social @Aman@dragonscave.space Do you know that correcting a computer teacher about something can get you out of the class? Yup, at NAB.

@Pool@dragonscave.space @mckensie@tweesecake.social @Aman@dragonscave.space hahhahha. self serving systems!

@prism@infosec.exchange I meen that's where the talkforward and like got brail support from I think? All other wibe coded screenreaders that were based on talkback. I want to mess with it as well, but I first want to understand the shortcomeings it has, eg why it isn't able to change sliders controls in some phones etc. I still hate that they still require a linux environment to build it though

@dhamlinmusic@dragonscave.space @pachli@mastodon.social Just download the pachli current app from the playstore, it will install alongside your current pachli app.

@mckensie@tweesecake.social @Aman@dragonscave.space chill out, nothing's gonna happen. lol.

@bscross32@tweesecake.social It wouldn't be reachable though here, customs suck.

@Julieroc40@dragonscave.space @Aman@dragonscave.space yeah, but this was a typeing contest, at an institution for the blind.
