Wanton destruction of civilian infrastructure
The investigations team at CBC News’ also found that the area was hit “more than once.” Satellite imagery showed multiple impact craters from attacks on the school complex. No matter how many outlets or officials cite international provisions prohibiting attacks on civilian infrastructure, these egregious war crimes continue.

When Trump claimed two weeks ago on Sunday that he would impose further punitive tariffs on states that oppose the US annexation of Greenland, he did so on Truth Social. Nevertheless, as we all know, the world got it.

There are several reasons why Trump chooses this exit channel. His platform, which virtually no one uses except his most ardent fans, desperately needs attention. US oligarchs have put millions upon millions into »Trump Media«. This is hardly disguised bribery, because money is hardly made from it: The share price of the »Trump Media & Technology Group« has halved in the past seven months.

This obituary will focus on what is generally considered his greatest work, and what I believe is possibly the greatest science fiction novel of all time, Hyperion.
Published in 1989, Hyperion is set in a far-flung future in which human settlement spans hundreds of planets. The novel feels both familiar, in that its structure follows Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, and utterly unfamiliar in its strange, far-flung setting.
RIP, Dan...

Theory of Evolution
Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution declared that species survived through a process called "natural selection," where those that successfully adapted or evolved to meet the changing requirements of their natural habitat thrived and reproduced, while those species that failed to evolve and reproduce died off.

Through his observations and studies of birds, plants and fossils, Darwin noticed similarities among species all over the globe, along with variations based on specific locations, leading him to believe that the species we know today had gradually evolved from common ancestors.
Darwin’s theory of evolution and the process of natural selection later became known simply as “Darwinism.”
