Bee lost in the sauce! I really enjoyed painting the play of light here, it's such a beautiful effect! #mastoart #fediart #procreate

@RickiTarr weirdly it's much harder for me to think of something that was good about when I was younger, because things have so dramatically improved for me in the present. In the end, financial independence, from before all the debts ruined my life. I was poor but my life was mine and all roads were still open to me.
However. Being where I am 20 years later, I have a good life! What I enjoy about being older is the freedom to do so much, because you stop giving away your fucks.

@Blender@mastodon.social maybe you shouldn't partner with actual pirates. Read the room. Do you really think that they won't just steal our 3D art now? Because that's the message and very likely the reality. As a company you deserve the bad press over this, no matter how much you justify this.
(Sorry to the maintainer of this account, you probably aren't in a position to change things and it sucks that your whole day will be some variation of this reaction)
Anyone here make steel cut rice in a rice cooker? Or have a rice cooker that has porridge/oatmeal mode? I want to possibly upgrade mine, but if I do I want one that can do oatmeal without a huge mess. If you have done this, what kind of rice cooker was it?
New earbuds with a much more substantial battery, new music service, laying in the dark listening to the new Muna album. Life is good!
Hot take this May 4th: Star Wars is LOTR for the scifi crowd.
Feeling emotional about that picture of Earth they just took from #artemis2 I swear space is the only thing that makes me feel something close to awe and rapture.

@ashenwave@mastodon.art one thing I can say is that I get genuine engagement here, and felt absolutely ignored on every other social I tried. Here, I feel like I have something to share with people instead of presenting it to The Void. I found it interesting that I get the same type of engagement on any of the instances I've been on, it doesn't seem to matter which instances, it matters who you interact with! That's refreshing nowadays, it feels more organic and genuine.

@Cal very good *if* the captioning is accurate. I don't particularly care if it's a person's "real voice", so long as I can follow along with human edited captioning.

@Ostdrossel@mindly.social oh no...it's like a nature doc and sometimes it be like that, but it doesn't soften the fact we get invested anyway
What is the best browser to use for ipad/iphone *specifically* if I don't want to be tracked and want ad blocking? I'm using Vivaldi for non search stuff, and DuckDuckGo for searches.
Antique outing was fun, though we did get stormed upon, we waited it out and continued on! Got a nice forg pin and some paintbrushes. It was nice walking around and seeing all the uranium glass and rusty stuff that pickers were arguing over. Some pictures of the forg, a sculpture I wanted but couldn't have, and some dubious stuff I did not purchase:

@halcy@icosahedron.website one of my favorite memories is going to my old university and a friend of mine had organized a gaming event with a homemade Poppin machine! It was extremely cool!

@owashe@meow.social I try to keep up, but don't always accomplish it. I don't feel pressured to do it tho, I just like seeing what people were up to!

@Adamski I let it scan my email as an option, no idea what it was looking for to verify this tho. And presumably they're already doing that so I'm not sure how the fuck they don't know this already. Anyway, that's apparently an option. But it's like" give us your ID or submit to further surveillance", absolute horseshit.

@Stomata a lilly! And the best part about them is that because of the onion like bulb, it'll keep flowering, year after year!
What Mastodon client are people using for Android nowadays? I'm using Tusky, but the one thing it doesn't have is emoji reactions, so I'm wondering if any of the other clients have that functionality. #askfedi

@carlcm what model was it? They make such a selection, from the simple one-buttons to the $500 ones that presumably turn your grains into gold.
I love adding raisins to my oatmeal! Have done other dried fruit too, it's lovely isn't it?

@Ostdrossel@mindly.social ah it really was a whole lotta nothing this time wasn't it? We didn't even get thunder! I was very surprised because they also ran the test sirens today, and they don't usually run those if there is a chance of severe weather!

@fesshole I mean, they've kinda been doing this for hundreds of years, back when plain water wasn't safe to drink. It doesn't have any or much alcohol, so why not?

@Danpiker@mathstodon.xyz interestingly, on my device that has a very aggressive warm filter applied, I cannot see it, where the one where I have that off I can. If you can't see it, it's likely because of your blue light filtering on your device.

@Meanwhile_on_earth_One@sfba.social @acarsdrama@live.acarsdrama.com I mean con workers usually have it, because it isn't damaging to walls, but why the fuck you'd do this is beyond me lol
