The wait is over, HelixNotes is officially live on iOS! If you have trouble finding it in the app store, try adding a space between Helix & Notes. For some reason that seems to work when the no-space way only works sometimes. This should resolve itself in the next 24 hours. Install it now and let us know what you think! https://apps.apple.com/us/app/helixnotes/id6788490726 #HelixNotes #ios #notetaking #foss #opensource

Your ideas evolve - and sometimes so do your mistakes. With Note History, Joplin automatically saves previous versions of your notes, so you can revisit earlier edits and restore them whenever you need. It's a simple feature that gives you extra peace of mind every time you write. #Joplin #NoteTaking #Productivity

As every summer, some part of my vacation is spent on turning some knobs of my note-taking process. For 2026, this means adding individual notes for ”focus claims”, ideas/thoughts/questions I find myself returning to over and over again. The plan is to use them as link targets for notes I take when reading/watching/listening/discussing, recording wether a not supports or refutes the ”focus claim”. #notetaking #pkm #obsidian #zettelkasten

HelixNotes is a local first note-taking application built with Svelte, Rust, and Tauri. The goal was to create an app with UpNote's clean editor and Obsidian's local files, but open source. Fern release v1.3.5 is out now, bringing a few stability and bug :blobcat_googly_bug: fixes since my last ping about v1.3.0:

  • desktop launchers (lmk if these dont work on your OS of choice)
  • emoji render bugfix
  • panics (at the disco) are handled gracefully
  • errors dumped to console upon crashes for easier bug reporting

Note: Snap releases will be delayed a bit while I try to figure out why repo changes are not getting picked up there. Brew and scoop users can update normally. #notetaking #tui #golang #pkm
