• Lots of dry porch time on a long rainy day.
• Long walk in the rain with the pup and a good audiobook.
• #Lanterns finale

The season finale of #lanterns just like the show itself, was great. By far my favorite superhero thing to come along in a long long time. Season 2 is gonna be amazing.

#lanterns tv show episode 7 of 8 has started streaming globally on HBO Max 6 hours ago and it’s disappointing as duck: “The Ongoing Murder Mystery: With one episode left, the mystery of who actually murdered Hal Jordan is still wide open” … so basically this tv show sucks on top of being woke.

After the momentum of the first 5 episodes, these last 3 feel like they're REALLY dragging this story out. 😖 #Lanterns

I’m sorry but I just can’t help feeling a bit of Captain Hammer in his performance whenever I see Fillion as Guy Gardner. Guy’s maybe 15-20% Hammer I’d say. Still love him though. 🤓 #lanterns

Yep, that was good. #Lanterns

Watched the first two ep of #Lanterns. They were pretty good. I like how it sets up the lore and the characters and does so in a way where you don’t really need to know anything about Green Lantern himself. Will be fun to see where the series goes.

Almost time for a new episode of #Lanterns. Find I’m excited for this show now, and inspired. Pumped out a fun new wallpaper for #WallarooApp subscribers inspired by the series, out soon. Fun!

The stories that resonate the most with me, and indeed with most people I suspect, are ones with strong, complex characters. Tonight’s third ep of #Lanterns was a testament to how to write a compelling character without treating the audience like children. Terrificlly written and acted, this series is really shaping up to be one of my favorite superhero tales. Aaron Pierce as Stewart is fantastic. Highly recommend Lanterns if you’ve not started watching yet.

Another great ep of #Lanterns this week. This show just gets better and better. Love that the superhero stuff is used so sparingly. Can’t wait for next week.

When the full moon rises, thousands of colorful silk #lanterns illuminate the ancient town of Hoi An #Vietnam & the river glows with floating flower lanterns. A must-see cultural spectacle! #HoiAn #LanternFestival #FullMoon #Travel https://backpackandsnorkel.com/Vietnam/Hoi-An/

Finally, what looks to be a good adaptation of Green Laterns. I am a fan of Green Lantern, but all I have to watch on the screen is Ryan Reynolds' version (meh) and Nathan Fillion's version (less meh). Now we get Kyle Chandler as what looks to be a weary and tired (and sarcastic) Hal Jordan -- already a win. And we get Aaron Pierre as a Green Lantern in training, John Stewart. If you haven't see Rebel Ridge (2023), it's well worth a watch, Pierre is absolutely fantastic in the movie. Fillion is reprising his role as Guy Gardner in the TV series, so I guess we'll all get to chuckle at his weird haircut again. I'm looking forward to Lanterns. https://youtu.be/7UIBOsuUwc4 #tv #movies #dc #GreenLantern #GreenLanterns #Lanterns #HBO #HBOMax

Kyle will always be my GL just like Wally will always be my Flash but this simply looks incredible. Just keep the rainbow spectrum out of this universe please. We only need green and yellow. #lanterns #dc https://youtu.be/7UIBOsuUwc4?is=L5G7YmjOjlz4MvFh
