Would be nice if they could get the covid and flu vaccines to not actually give you covid and the flu for 24 hours afterward.
The way the GrapheneOS mastodon account is ran makes me lose trust in the project. Does anyone else feel this way?
Sure does seem like a place to mostly air petty grievances in addition to actual platform information and updates.
Medical stuff drains me. I took the entire morning off after an 8:30am appointment so I could just come home and crash for a few hours.
We had some migration work finishing up last night at work. I knew there’d be issues today but I wasn’t moving my appointment just to be available.
I really need other people to pull their weight. The entire enterprise can’t be dependent on me being available to troubleshoot systems I don’t have anything to do with or any expertise in working with.

If you use the “company” account as your personal soapbox you’re only ever going to invite more friction with your actual project. It’s a losing strategy long term.
Which is exactly my point here. I lose trust in the project as a whole right now instead of saying hey there’s this one guy who works on GrapheneOS that’s a little too online for my tastes. Because the surface area is exactly one account that represents literally everything.
Anyway. My opinion doesn’t matter.
Never fails. It’s either the deviation of having more/different food or the stress from the interaction but team lunches always destroy my stomach for the rest of the day.
Taking advantage of my rewards from driving back to visit my mom got me a 3 night stay in Vegas to see the Chiefs play the Raiders and a concert for one of my favorite new bands over the last couple years.
I just had to call the rewards line afterwards to stop trying to get me to book this trip a week after I booked it.
Maybe, but it heavily turns me off and reads as unprofessional to me.
If it was me I’d be wading into drama away from the official account on a personal one.
People who want the drama and to be involved in that could follow both.
