Someone picked up the android FT8 app, now using the name FT8AF, it's still free if you want to manually install an apk. The desktop version is, very much still a work in progress in my opinion but looks pretty promising. The android version is the easiest so far that I've had using FT8 on android with my rig.
Get it from https://github.com/patrickrb/FT8AF
Note: if you support the author via the android store, that version is NOT the latest. Found that out the hard way. #hamradio #ft8
