We were going to board the train from Dublin to Galway this morning at 9:25. Left the hotel at 8:50, train station was 10 mins drive away. Tried both Uber and FreeNow (Lyft), 10 mins later neither could get us a taxi. So we decided to take the bus, then found out the bus only took transit cards or cash but no changes. We were about to try to hail a taxi by the road…

But also, let me check the direction where the mommy bunny usually emerges #DogsOfMastodon #backyard #bunny

Last night when I let the dogs out, I saw a bunny in the backyard. When I opened the door they ran away with their regular route. But Hilo stayed where the bunny was and kept sniffing something in the grass from a short distance with caution. I walked over and saw this tiny bunny looking terrified and not moving at all. I called the dogs back in and turned off the light. Half an hour later, they were gone, hopefully the mom or dad or sibling or friend came back for them. #bunny #rabbit #backyard

@westbrook@mastodon.social Probably some design on apple.com really really needed that selector 😂

@westbrook@mastodon.social Yeah I remember :host:has() was somewhat on track but some people didn’t like the idea of :host(:has()) for the fact that some arbitrary light DOM structure could affect shadow DOM styles. But it would be so useful!

@westbrook@mastodon.social I’m AFK so can’t test but wondering if :host-context() could achieve the same?
