Choosing a reverb plugin / algorithm is hard for me. I can hear the differences, but they are often very subtle, and I can't tell which is better or worse. I suppose I'm not exactly sure what I want.

Fascinating. They found a kind of "global workspace" inside Claude where it "thinks" about what it is doing, and it can be probed and manipulated.
Amazing how this emerged from training. It was not designed to work that way.

Oversampling is done by adding zeros between every sample and then low passing. Math is crazy.

@nemo Yes! Over 10 years. LEMUR is the controller you are seeing here. But REAPER is doing the heavy lifting, with a Javascript layer in the middle doing state management / generation.

@eesn@mas.to Yes, apparently it is true. Add zeros between each sample -> low pass -> do whatever processing -> low pass (to remove stuff above nyquist) -> decimate (throw away every other sample)
