@warandpeas@mastodon.social I prefer 4 panels in 1 image, easier to share and the OpenGraph Preview shows the full comic, so it can be opened in messengers without opening the link. When there are 4 images you’d only get the first image shown by OpenGraph standard (and here is 1 problem of it: some client do not respect this and show the last image as preview, spoiling everything!). I have this problem mostly with Photo posts, e.g. from Pixelfed (oder also here from Mastodon) when I share them using messengers. Receivers only see the first or last image and don't know that there are more. Mastodon adds a: "Attached: x images" to the beginning of the description, but who reads that… Also, I attached a screenshot how the difference looks in @MonaApp@mastodon.social Also the OpenGraph Previews in Element (Matrix), which shows the last image as preview instead of the first one (I know some other Messagers also do this).

Some days ago I set up a #PeerTube instance for my videos and am currently migrating the Videos from #YouTube. The instance can be found at https://mavofilms.video and you can follow my channel at @mavofilms (or my account at @me ). If you own a PeerTube instance you can also follow my instance. I’m still not finished migrating, I probably have nearly half of my videos in there for now, but at least it's currntly not empty! Most videos will be about locations in the ruhr area, some from the Hard region, Black forest or the german alps. You can find Videos about #Nature, old industry, light art, #Trains and more. Currently it's still an experiment. If the instance will stay and if I’ll continuously upload videos (also some I’m not be able to upload to YouTube, since the locations do not allow commercial platforms) will depend on how much the storage will cost me (currently less than expected, so this shouldn’t be a problem) and how much views I’ll get there. If the videos will get enough views, the instance is there to stay. If they don’t get any views, the instance will be closed. Updated #Pixelfed 0.12.7 -> 0.12.10 with another container image last night (the one I used previously is not really actively maintained, still waiting for usable official images with documentations). First impression: Filters still don't work …

@keithamus@indieweb.social On an iPad Pro with Nanotexture Display + Paperlike protective film (which looked really dirty on some colors and created some "noise"). Touch input using Apple Pencil, so sometimes some px off.

@rl_dane@polymaths.social @NanoRaptor@bitbang.social Yes... Some People don't seem to look at simple things like an upload date anymore and just spam "AI slop" or "AI generated" in comments. Must be pretty hard for real artists nowadays.
