Happy to announce that with funding from @RConsortium@fosstodon.org #rstats #rspatial 📦 {geoarrowWidget_0.1.0} has hit CRAN. It enables fast data transfer from #rstats memory to the browser for use with {htmlwidgets}. Leverages Apache Arrow memory layout and provides necessary #JavaScript bindings for consumption in the browser, including reading (Geo)Parquet data from remote URLs. Can some #JavaScript expert maybe explain to me why Deck.gl picking is working in this example where I source https://unpkg.com/deck.gl@9.3.7/dist.min.js directly from unpkg:

...but picking is not working when I import from @deck.gl@esm.sh

What am I missing and how can I get picking to work when using module imports?
