Happy Mothers Day!

If someone was in charge of poisoning American culture from the inside how would it look different than this?

"If I were the Devil . . .I would begin with a campaign of whispers. With the wisdom of a serpent, I would whisper to you as I whispered to Eve: “Do as you please.” In the ears of the young marrieds, I would whisper that work is debasing, that cocktail parties are good for you. If I were the devil, I’d educate authors in how to make lurid literature exciting so that anything else would appear dull an uninteresting. I’d threaten T.V. with dirtier movies and vice versa." General facts may indeed be collected from them, such as that Europe is now at war, that Bonaparte has been a successful warrior, that he has subjected a great portion of Europe to his will, &c., &c.; but no details can be relied on. Is it not explicitly illegal to hire based on gender?

So, when the Pope says "communion" here, he just means like, getting together.. right?
