Techies of mastodon, what hardware under £50 would you recommend if I wanted to host home assistant and a pi hole instance on it?
Happy to grab something off eBay, my current pi keeps corrupting SD cards.

I've recently migrated a second hand intel MacBook to fedora as it was cheap now they've announced the drop of support for them!

I've remembered I have an old micro pc lying around but it has a stupid 32bit efi so it's tricky to find anything that boots properly on it, I might have to try Debian

It's satisfying to have spent all day dismantling and storing a very heavy cot, and building an even heavier giant double floor toddler bed with full cot sides only to have him vomit all over it twice before 2am!

Does anyone have any tips for learning #elixir ? I've always used IntelliJ as my IDE but it seems to behave slightly inconsistently when using elixir. Also is there any way you get the interactive debugging to work like you would with say Java?

PhoenixLive View seems to be the framework I always wanted back in 2012 when I was working on Java Swing applications.
Then again I wouldn't have earnt half the money I was paid if I couldn't spend my life moving buttons around so they could always fit on laptops with 600x900 resolutions.
Aldi have got Jaffa cake mini eggs and they're incredible. No idea how they've managed to get the flavour profile of the orange jelly, chocolate and cake into a mini egg but they've managed it. Absolute mad lads.
