Every few years I revisit #Minecraft, and every time I'm somehow surprised at how scary it is.
Harmless things that have jumpscared me so far:
- The game music
- A friendly squid
- My pet cow mooing
- The axe that I was literally carrying
- The sheep that I forgot was following me
- Saw an enderman from really far away
- Sailing along happily and then realising I'm over a really deep bit
- The game music again
Had a dream last night where I learned that Andy Serkis had formed a gamedev studio and released a game about exploring space, but on investigation it turned out to be a direct clone of Kerbal Space Program with a different name and somehow even worse graphics.
Dream me was rather indignant about it all.
Also for some reason I was disembarking from a cruise ship while learning this.
Dreams are weird.
This week has been almost entirely devoted to settling in our new foster dog, who you can just see peeking out behind the laptop there.
So after a fairly busy week, today's Comfort Game From The Past is Kerbal Space Program, which I have almost entirely forgotten how to play.
Yes I'd just landed on top of the VAB. No it was not on purpose.
Tiny child me thought Rock Me Amadeus was the coolest song ever made. She wasn't far off tbf. #totp
Closing Time! All is forgiven, it's all worth it for this. If you all hate it I hate you back. #TOTP
This song that I'm pretty sure I've never heard before sounds like something else but I don't know what. Yes I know this is a pointless toot. #totp
Phil turning up in the age-appropriate uniform of cargo pants and a fleece. Love that for him. #TOTP
This seemed like an episode built entirely out of the worst bits of last week's episode. No offense to Christina, obvs. #TOTP
Ngl this has all been so bad I've just been playing Freecell the entire time instead of paying attention #TOTP
Just settling down now with belated Easter chocolates and my fledgling crush on Shania. Evening folks! #totp
Not a great start for my intense hatred of Macy Gray. Which I could also have said about last week, and I think also the week before 😩 #TOTP
What I don't get, right, is where people in other cities who apparently wear coats on a night out actually put them? Like, do you all wait in those hour-long queues for the cloakroom? The logistics have never made sense to me! #totp
Forgot it was Lou Bega season. I want to hate it but am doing a wiggly dance on the couch against my better judgement #totp
Could've had Leftfield. Got that cover of Mickey instead.
We should've all just rewatched the banger episode from last week instead tbh. #totp
